Skull

This is a small part of a larger project I am working on.
The goal was to update the skulls that I had made a while back as I felt that they could use some improvement; The base mesh I had originally started with was rebuilt from the ground up to make future adjustments much easier.
Because I was starting with a finished sculpt I re-topologized the original with much better edge flow than I previously had done. I decided to UV map in ZBrush as it was going to be where I primarily did all my baking and I wanted the challenge to see how far I could push UV master to get good results.
It was also a good opportunity to learn some more about rendering and lighting, which I think the results are working well.

The next step will be to create a few variations and some extra bones to go onto a podium.
